Job Details
- Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
- Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 3rd Shift: 11 PM – 7 AM
- Pay Range: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)
- Shift Premium: +$2.00 per hour for 3rd Shift
- Work Location: Onsite - 905 S Jackson St, Mount Carroll, IL 61053
- Reports To: Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to technical specifications
- Ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements through inspection and measurement
- Perform minor troubleshooting and make routine equipment adjustments as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Maintain accurate documentation and production records
- Keep work area clean and organized following 5S standards
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support team and production goals
Skills/Competencies
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong communication and teamwork mindset
- Basic computer and math skills
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
- Demonstrated stable work history with minimal employment gaps
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Required to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending and stooping required.
- Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
