Role Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor leads and manages the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency within the manufacturing facility. This role focuses on staff training and development, implementing preventative and corrective maintenance strategies, and coordinating schedules to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Supervisor fosters a collaborative environment, monitors performance metrics, and ensures adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards while supporting continuous production goals.
Key Responsibilities
Train and develop maintenance staff, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of work.
Ensure consistent application of maintenance policies and procedures across the team.
Oversee corrective and preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
Coordinate maintenance schedules and strategies with production teams to minimize downtime.
Foster a collaborative and teamwork-oriented environment, promoting communication within the maintenance team.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to machine uptime and maintenance efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Conduct coaching, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Review and update team timesheets, ensuring accurate records of work hours.
Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Required)

Qualifications (Preferred)
Certifications: Powered Industrial Equipment Certification
Physical Requirements
Required to stand for extended periods.
Frequent bending and stooping required.
Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
Must be able to work in noisy environments.
