Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Cold Forming Operator - 3rd Shift at our Saegertown, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate cold forming equipment, inspect parts, adjust machine settings, and support safe, consistent production. This full-time hourly position pays $20/hour plus a $0.75 3rd-shift differential.

• Location: Saegertown, PA

• Work Arrangement: On-site

• Schedule: 3rd Shift, Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM

• Pay: $20/hour

• Other Compensation: $0.75 3rd-shift differential

• Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly

• Overtime: Regular overtime is expected.

What You'll Do as a Cold Forming Operator

• Set up and operate cold forming machines and related equipment to manufacture parts to precise specifications.

• Load material, adjust tooling, and verify machine settings based on production orders and work instructions.

• Monitor machine operation and product quality, making necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances and performance standards.

• Use calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools to verify product dimensions and quality.

• Perform minor maintenance, tooling changes, and troubleshooting to help keep equipment operating efficiently.

• Accurately complete production records and traveler paperwork.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment aligned with 5S and established safety practices.

• Communicate with team members and supervisors about machine issues, quality concerns, and improvement opportunities, and participate in training to build additional machine and technical skills.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with high-speed manufacturing equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and part drawings.

• Experience using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

• Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physical production environment.

• A work history demonstrating steady employment, reliability, and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Previous machine operation experience.

This role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, operating high-speed production equipment, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments, and standing for extended periods.
