Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Production Planner for an on-site role in Farmington Hills, Michigan. In this role, you will develop and execute production schedules, coordinate inventory and materials, and work across teams to support efficient operations and on-time delivery. You will also help resolve material constraints and work with suppliers and purchasing to keep production needs aligned with customer demand.

• Schedule: 1st Shift

• Pay: $60,000-$70,000/year

• Employment Type: Full-time / Salary

What You'll Do as a Production Planner

• Develop and execute production schedules that align production capacity with customer demand and support timely product delivery.

• Evaluate materials for cost-effectiveness while supporting quality standards and budget objectives.

• Collaborate with relevant teams to assess material quality and alignment with applicable standards and specifications.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain appropriate stock of parts and raw materials needed for production.

• Identify and address material-related challenges while supporting key inventory performance objectives.

• Research and establish relationships with new suppliers as needed to support a reliable and diverse sourcing strategy.

• Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to determine the parts and materials required for manufacturing.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.

• Ability to consistently meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to solve problems effectively and implement solutions.

• Proficiency with software applications and tools used to support planning and inventory management.
