Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate at our Farmington Hills, Michigan manufacturing facility. In this role, you will support the accurate and efficient movement of materials and inventory through shipping, receiving, inspection, storage, and delivery activities while following safety and quality standards.

• Location: Farmington Hills, MI

• Work Arrangement: On-site

• Schedule: Multiple shifts: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM; 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM; 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM

• Pay: $19-$21/hour, depending on skills and experience

• Other Compensation: +$1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd Shift; +$1.25/hour shift premium for 3rd Shift

• Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly

• Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required.

What You'll Do as a Shipping & Receiving Associate

• Process and load orders to complete shipments accurately and efficiently.

• Receive, move, weigh, stock, pack, and prepare inbound and outbound warehouse materials and products.

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

• Operate powered industrial equipment and warehouse machinery as needed.

• Use JDE, RFS, RF technology, and related systems to manage inventory and product shipments.

• Deliver raw materials to work centers and support inventory counts and inventory-level accuracy.

• Inspect products for damage, report discrepancies, and ensure proper labeling, packaging, documentation, and inventory accuracy.

• Maintain an organized work area in accordance with 5S standards and follow applicable safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma.

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.

• Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written and verbal directions.

• Basic verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic mathematical and clerical skills.

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required by the role.

• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Powered industrial equipment certification.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role involves material handling and warehouse activities, including operating powered industrial equipment and lifting or moving heavy objects. Employees are expected to follow established safety, environmental, quality, and 5S requirements while working around warehouse equipment and materials.
