Operates and maintains equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair precision parts. The Machinist interprets blueprints and uses a variety of tools to meet specified dimensions and quality standards. Responsible for the setup, testing, and adjustment of machines, ensuring smooth operation and efficiency in the production process.

Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Pay Range: $23.00-$29.00
Work Location: Onsite - Saegertown, Pennsylvania
Key Responsibilities
Operate mechanical equipment (lathes, milling machines, grinders) to fabricate, assemble, and repair parts.
Interpret machining instructions, job orders, and blueprints to determine specifications, operations, setups, and tooling needs.
Set cutting speeds, feed rates, and tool parameters based on machining instructions and material properties.
Select and use appropriate tools to cut, shape, and finish metal, plastic, and composite materials.
Set up, maintain, and service equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Measure parts with precision instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
Assist with the installation, operation, and adjustment of machines for precision part production.
Assemble parts into sub-units or complete units as needed.
Report issues with machinery or parts to supervisors for resolution
Provide training assistance and mentoring to team members as needed.
Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
