Role Summary:
The Sorter 1 is responsible for inspecting, sorting, and preparing parts and materials for production. The Sorter 1 will work closely with the Quality and Production teams to ensure that all products meet company standards and customer specifications. Ideal candidates are reliable, efficient, and have a keen eye for detail.

Position Type: Full-Time/Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Pay: $18.76 /hourly
Work Location: Onsite – Mundelein, IL 60060
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect parts, materials, and products to identify defects, inconsistencies, or damages. Sort according to quality standards and specifications.
Ensure only quality-assured parts move forward in the production process; remove and document defective items.
Record quantities, types of sorted materials, and defects identified. Communicate any discrepancies or issues with the Quality team.
Assist in inventory organization by labeling, storing, and preparing parts for shipment or further processing as required.
Work with other team members to meet production and quality goals.
Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Competencies:
Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on product quality.
Basic math and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications (Required)
Education: Bachelor's
Experience: Warehouse experience Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
