Role Summary
The Project Engineer plays a key role in overseeing and executing complex engineering projects. This position is responsible for managing project planning, design, implementation, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring all phases—from planning to execution—are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
Review and evaluate project proposals, objectives, and plans to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with project goals.
Develop and assign responsibilities, create project schedules, and allocate resources efficiently to meet project milestones.
Design, conduct, and analyze tests to measure project progress, performance, and compliance with design specifications.
Ensure that projects are completed within budget constraints and recommend adjustments to plans or schedules as needed to meet project objectives.
Coordinate and collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
Provide regular project status updates and detailed progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
Identify potential risks or issues and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges and keep projects on track.
Ensure compliance with all relevant state, federal, and industry regulations, maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process or design improvements based on project feedback.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Required)
Education: Bachelor's
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience.
Experience working with external vendors and managing cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred, with demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
Qualifications (Preferred)
Certifications: Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
